* CaseIH and other brands being nerfed or less models availability in favor of John Deere * Physics seems to have improved, though it's still not like that found in SnowRunner and some other sims/excellent off-road physics games even if it has a lot of room for improvement *Crop seasons, raw variety of different equipment to purchase, and great native mod support are definitely wins. DX12 introduction new for FS22 is NICE - almost introduces a problem where it's TOO GPU bound and not enough CPU bound, lol. *Runs well on Ryzen 7000-series (almost no CPU utilization) and Radeon RX 7900 XT (about 50% utilization at 1440p 60 Hz, max settings). Let me REALLY get into the nitty-gritty now. Ok, so some are thinking I'm a brand loyalist at this point. Is that really the way to go? Lol, no, because it's just not right. It's almost like each release of Farm Sim is now going to be themed around a specific brand.
I get that John Deere is the new hot commodity - and I suspect that the licensing deal is part of the explanation for increased pricing - but come on, did we really have to make it THIS obvious? Several CaseIH models are missing and some that are in the game are almost a joke. It's probably not the only brand but the most noticeable for me coming from FS'19. ok, anyways, let's get behind pricing and value (bang for your buck).ĬaseIH has been mostly nerfed in FS2022. FS is NOT a AAA title, and worse, there's still plenty of add-on content to purchase to get everything, such as "Platinum Edition" which doesn't include Year 1 Season, Year 2 Season, etc. When I say "full price", I mean close to AAA games. Nice incremental improvements in 2019 and then in 2022, but I'm underwhelmed, especially considering that FS2022 has been full price (and more than previous releases) for almost a year before the first sale.
